The Management Information Systems Office is committed to continually sustain the delivery of excellent services to the stakeholders through its hardware, software and network units utilizing updated and accepted information and communications technology, ensuring safe and healthy working conditions while reducing the environmental impact of the office’s operations.
QUALITY OBJECTIVES
- Produce reports needed for policy formulation, educational planning project development ,budgeting and decision making ;
- Implement office automation systems to support wide range of business office activities that provide for improve workflow ( paperless transaction ) and communications to the different units/offices while maintaining data integrity and security ;
- Troubleshoot and repair workstations and servers connected to the network preventing data transmission downtime to units/offices, and ;
- Sustain 24/7 website connectivity to guarantee global access to the university’s programs and activities.
GOAL
To be the core of the university’s information system developing, insuring and maintaining quality and usable database for operations, policy formulation, and decision making through the use of state – of – the – art information technology.
FUNCTIONS
The primary functions of the Management Information Systems Office are to:
- Implement office automation systems to support wide range of business office activities that provide for improve workflow and communications to the different units/offices and sustain 24/7 website connectivity to guarantee global access to university’s programs and activities;
- Maintenance of ICT equipment connected to the network and management of the core computer network infrastructure of the University.
