Winning over 100,000 pesos, a student from Tarlac State University bagged one of the grand prizes in the Smart Communication’s Balik Tuition Raffle Promo held last January 2022.
Teddy Pascual, a 2nd year student from College of Computer Studies (CCS), joined and was qualified for the said raffle as he was using his Smart prepaid sim with “Giga Study” offers.
“Hindi ko po in-expect na mananalo ako. Nakita ko lang siya [Facebook post] as an advertisement sa Facebook then naisip ko lang po i-try tapos ayon po. Kaya thankful din po ako na nag-try po ako that time. I am happy that I can buy a device for my online classes to help me in my studies and my online learning,” Pascual said.
Pascual added that the main reason he joined the said raffle promo is to buy a new computer for his online classes as he is struggling at times with the computer he is currently using.
Meanwhile, his parents are also happy with the good news as their son will no longer struggle with his online classes.
“Maraming salamat po sa Smart dahil mas mapapadali na po ‘yong online learning experience ko and mas makakapag-focus na po ako sa pag-aaral,” he added.
The turnover of cash prize to the said winner and 50 pieces of Smart Bro Pocket Wifi to TSU is scheduled on March 4, 2022.
