Tarlac State University's Gender and Development Office (GAD) kick-started its program for the National Women's Month Celebration during the Flag-Raising Ceremony at the TSU Main Campus on March 3, 2020.
With the theme "We Make Change Work For Women,” the Philippine Commission on Women wants to highlight the empowerment of women as active contributors to and claimholders of development.
The National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) every March is part of the worldwide observance of the International Women's Day every March 8th.
In line with this, the GAD office, under the leadership of its Director Dr. Rita E. Pulmano, organized series of activities for the whole month of March.
The TSU Community is enjoined to commemorate this month-long celebration by participating.
