Tarlac State University celebrated its Year-End Thanksgiving Party last December 10, 2019 at the College of Computer Studies grounds of the San Isidro Extension Campus.

In her inspirational message, TSU President Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari thanked the Lord and everyone for the university’s milestones this year. She also emphasized how everyone should learn to forget and forgive the misgivings and focus on the brighter year ahead.

“While you dedicate your life to TSU, I know, along the way there are heartaches, there are challenges, there are pains in our hearts. I know that, because I feel all of these! The only wish I have for today, my dear colleagues, is that we'll be able to forget and forgive all the heartaches, stress, challenges, pains, and some painful experiences for the year 2019. Let us just forget them and look for a brighter and a new 2020,” Mallari said.

The event was well attended by teaching and non-teaching members of the TSU community. Clusters of colleges and the non-teaching personnel performed during the program including the Administrative Council members. There were also raffle draws and special numbers as the evening wore on.

Present also in the festivity is Ms. Judy M. Cayabyab, the state auditor currently assigned at TSU, and Ms. Lorna Halili, assistant auditor, from the Commission on Audit; as well as Hon. Dennis Norman T. Go, representative to Hon. Mark O. Go, the Chairperson of the Committee on Higher and Technical Education of the 18th Congress; and Engr. Jerone C. Jimenez, President of the TSU Alumni Organization Singapore Chapter. [Jodie Andrea G. Pangilinan]
