UPDATE ON THE TSU POST-ECQ ACTION PLAN

Share

Given the circumstances we are in, where it is quite difficult and unfair to make judgment of failure considering that students have not been given the benefit of a full semester to enhance their academic performance except those who have dropped the course prior to the ECQ, the following decisions on the matter of grades this 2nd semester 2019-2020 have been thought best for the students and has been approved by the TSU Academic Council through a referendum:

1. COMPUTED GRADES and GWA OF STUDENTS

1.1. For students vying for LATIN HONORS who will be given a grade lower than 1.75 this second semester and will affect their general weighted average (GWA), said grade will be waived in the computation of their overall GWA.

1.2. For Student-Scholars, if the computed grade this second semester is on the advantage of the students based on the required maintaining grade for their scholarship, it will be included in the computation of their GWA, otherwise, it will be waived in the computation.

2. INC Grade

2.1. NO INC incurred this second semester will BE MARKED / appear in the student's TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS once requirements have been completed for the grades.
