TSU students to benefit from alumni-sponsored solar charging station
PREAMBLE
We, the editors and staff of The WORK, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to form an institution that shall promote and uphold the principles of academic and campus press freedom; defend and advance students’ rights and welfare; and advocate the ideal of genuine service to the students and the Filipino people, do hereby ordain and promulgate this Constitution and By-Laws.
Article II GENERAL RULES AND PRINCIPLES
Section 1. The WORK shall serve primarily as a newspaper of and for the students and shall reflect the general character of Tarlac State University. In addition, it shall also inform about university development and events of interest to the students and act as a medium for independent student opinion on community and national issues. It shall pursue the mission of social transformation through active and responsible campus journalism.
Section 2. The WORK, being an independent student institution, shall not be subject to any form of censorship. In turn, the editors and staff shall see to it that The WORK exercises academic and campus press freedom as provided for the Laws of the Republic. It shall also seek to protect and safeguard press freedom by taking a firm and assertive stance against elements endangering such right.
